When you work with local community groups, schools and health facilities, you have the benefit of invaluable hands-on learning, and community members benefit from your skills and expertise. These experiences will become an especially rewarding part of your education at Adelphi.<\/p>\n
Students have an opportunity to do fieldwork and are assigned children to work with at the\u00a0<\/span>Henry Viscardi School<\/a>, a specialized school for the physically disabled.<\/p>\n Camp Abilities<\/a>\u00a0is a four-day overnight developmental sports\u00a0camp\u00a0for children who are visually impaired, blind, or deafblind.
