A commitment from Richard K. Garner, PhD, dean of Adelphi鈥檚 Honors College, will support endowed scholarship funds.

When Lenore Nemirow passed away in 2012, her children, Joan Benn 鈥�85, Elisa Nemirow 鈥�83 and Mark Nemirow, honored her memory by creating the Lenore Nemirow Scholarship.

In 2002, colleagues and friends of alumnus and former coach Paul Doherty '62 established The Paul J. Doherty Memorial Scholarship.

茄子视频 has received a $2.5 million commitment from Trustee Frank Angello 鈥�77 and his wife Phyllis. In recognition of their generosity and their service to the University, Adelphi will dedicate the Angello Alumni House on Sunday, March 22, 2015.

Nearly 250 alumni and friends of Adelphi, members of the Ruth S. Harley Society, have made commitments to Adelphi of all sizes through their estate plans.

Carol A. Ammon, MBA 鈥�79, 鈥�10 (Hon.), DNP has created three scholarships that will ensure the Ammon name lives on at Adelphi and directly support students in need of scholarship funds.

In 2002 the Nebletts established The Marcus Rayman Neblett Award and have continued to contribute to this initiative through the years.

The Smalley Family Endowment for Italian Language Studies was established in 2013. This endowment provides scholarships to undergraduate students pursuing a minor (or major when it is available) in Italian language.

The Gregory Peter Gutman Scholarship in Management Education was established at 茄子视频 in 2003 through a bequest from the late Professor Gutman.

鈥淚 created a scholarship in memory of my late husband. I am deeply grateful each year for the opportunity to meet the John A. Weisz scholarship recipients; clearly, they remind me of the promise of Adelphi.鈥�
