It has been another strong year of national rankings and recognition for 茄子视频, from annual guides including聽U.S. News & World Report,听Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education,听Forbes, Money聽and Niche.
Adelphi jumped an impressive 43 ranking points from 251 last year to 208 this year on聽The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education聽Top U.S. College list. This places the University in the top 26 percent in the country. The ranking utilizes student surveys and adopts a balanced scorecard approach, with 15 individual performance indicators combining to create an overall score that reflects the broad strength of the institution.
Adelphi earned five 2020 awards from the U.S. News & World Report this year: Best College (for the second consecutive year), Best Performer on Social Mobility and a Best College for First-Year Experiences (two new categories), Best Colleges for Veterans and Best Value School.
Social Mobility rankings examine how well colleges serve low-income students, especially regarding their graduation rates. Adelphi ranks in the top 25 percent for social mobility on the National Universities list.

First-Year Experiences rankings focus on the services and programs colleges offer during students’ critical first year.
鈥淎s soon as our first-year students arrive, they are connected with Adelphi faculty members who provide high-impact learning opportunities on campus and beyond,鈥 said Peter West, PhD, associate provost for student success at Adelphi. 鈥淢any students are also connected with our more tailored programs such as First-Year Living-Learning Communities, General Studies Program, the Honors College and Levermore Global Scholars, in which students learn to engage with a community of their peers throughout the year as they begin their college careers.鈥
National rankings are a key part of our efforts to continue the strong awareness and reputation of Adelphi.
In College Factual, Adelphi was awarded 82 badges for being in the top 1-15% of colleges and universities聽in categories such as biology, accounting, business management and finance, nursing, history, chemistry, psychology, theatre, music and art — for traditional students, non-traditional students and veterans.聽Twenty of Adelphi鈥檚 programs are top-ranked or are in the top 10 percent for the highest-paid graduates nationwide.
Adelphi was also named a聽U.S. News & World Report聽Best College for Veterans and Best Value School, reflecting our commitment to our veteran scholars and our strength in career outcomes after graduation.
Earlier this year, Adelphi’s nursing and social work programs were named to聽U.S. News & World Report‘s 2019 Best Graduate Schools list, putting the University’s social work program in the top 20 percent in the nation. Other programs highly ranked include Speech-Language Pathology, Psychology and Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program鈥攕ee these聽.
Forbes聽magazine has again included Adelphi in its list of America’s Top Colleges for 2019. This ranking is an annual review of the undergraduate institutions that deliver top academics, best experiences, career success and low debt.
