Empower your child’s curiosity, creativity, and confidence this Fall. Hosted on the ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ campus, our Saturday Enrichment Workshops offer hands-on, inspiring learning experiences led by dedicated educators.
From dynamic STEM labs and coding to creative writing and stage performance, our programs give students in grades K–8 the opportunity to explore new passions in a vibrant university setting. and give your child a Saturday filled with learning, creativity, and fun.

Students entering grades K–8.

Dates: 6 sessions running from October 17–November 21, 2026
Time: Courses run during the following times, and for one course in each time slot:

Cost
- $300 per course
- Discounts are available for siblings, alumni, Adelphi staff, and university partners
Cancellations made at least 14-calendar days before the class start date are eligible for a full refund.
Students learn by doing, working together to create, experiment and bring new ideas to life.
Foundations and Exploration
A hands-on introduction to learning for our youngest students, with programs that build confidence, creativity, collaboration and foundational skills through play, movement and creative projects.

Come explore Adelphi! Through dynamic games, stories, art, music, movement, and collaborative projects, young learners build confidence, motor skills, and teamwork. Designed to reinforce classroom fundamentals while fostering a love of learning in a supportive campus environment.
STEM and Technology Courses
Build, code, experiment and solve problems through hands-on STEM experiences. Students use technology, engineering and scientific thinking to turn ideas into projects.

- Grades 5–8: 10:30²¹³¾â€“12:00±è³¾
Dive into hands-on experiments, engineering challenges, and math-based projects inside a university science lab! Students will work independently and in teams to solve problems, build designs, and think like scientists and inventors.
Open to beginners with no prior experience required.

Bring your gaming ideas to life! Using MIT’s Scratch, students learn the fundamentals of character design, animation, and game logic—no prior coding required. Returning students can build new games or expand past projects.
Open to beginners with no prior experience required.

Step into text-based coding with Python! Students learn basic programming syntax, problem-solving, and computational logic through interactive projects to build a solid foundation in modern computer science.

Take your coding skills further! Learn advanced concepts like loops, string manipulation, and input/output functions to design and develop your own functional Python programs.
Students should have some programming experience, including a basic understanding of variables, conditions and Boolean logic.

Discover the fundamentals of 3D design and digital fabrication. Students learn how to transform ideas into physical objects using 3D modeling software and modern additive manufacturing tools.
Open to beginners with no prior experience required.
Visual and Performing Arts Courses
Create, perform and express yourself through art and theater. Students develop creative skills while experimenting with different materials, techniques, storytelling and performance.

Become an artist explorer! Inspired by nature and our campus surroundings, students experiment with painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media while learning about colors, textures, shadows, and clay modeling.

Build stage confidence, creative thinking, and teamwork through energetic theater games and storytelling. Students learn to create characters and act out unscripted scenes in a supportive, fun environment.
New and returning students are welcome!
Communication and Humanities Courses
Find your voice through writing and public speaking. Students strengthen communication skills, develop their ideas and build confidence expressing themselves to others.

Tap into your inner storyteller! Students explore short stories, poetry, fantasy, and realistic fiction through engaging prompts and collaborative activities. Learn character development, plot creation, and descriptive writing through drafting, revising, and sharing work.

Gain confidence behind the microphone and in front of an audience. Through short talks, group activities, and practical presentation exercises, students practice organizing their ideas and speaking clearly and persuasively.
