Cole Arthur Riley will offer a talk on what it means to engage in rituals of beauty. How does the discipline of wonder keep us from despair? What does beauty do to the soul?
Cole will also explore how these practices guide how we engage in works of reconciliation, justice and stand in solidarity with one another.
Following the talk will be a Question and Response section. Cole will be available for book signing following the event.聽
Light Vegan Desserts and Tea will be provided after the event.聽

About the Speaker
Cole Arthur Riley
Cole Arthur Riley is a writer and poet. She is the NYT bestselling author of This Here Flesh and Black Liturgies. Her writing has been featured in The Atlantic, Guernica, The Boston Globe, and The Washington Post. Cole is also the creator of Black Liturgies, a space that integrates spiritual practice with Black emotion, Black literature, and the Black body.
