Stories from three psychology majors about their undergraduate internship experiences.
Garden City, NY, December 10, 2013鈥擜 snowfall that began early in the day has blanketed the campus in white and made roads difficult to travel. Yet, the 11 psychology majors who participated in Adelphi鈥檚 innovative have made it to their final class and are ready to present posters about their internship experiences.
When their professor, Francine Conway, M.A. 鈥�96, Ph.D. 鈥�99, chair of and creator of the internship program, arrives, the students launch in. What unfolds is a glimpse of the many lessons the students gained from their richly varied experiences.
